I got my seedbox up and running again, so hopefully that'll help too. Completely spaced on it after I hit 10 ratio.

I was about to share the magnet since I used Wayback Machine, but Faen was too fast for me 😎I'm also going to seed on my side for the looong time being since I just changed my storage, the pack is once again integrated to my lib.

Hi guys i'm new to the forum, i have a very important question to ask about the cd samples from the 90's. Since i plan to use them commercially for a video game in development, how does the licensing of these cds work? Do they still have a license or are they in the public domain?

It depends on the CD, but unless one of the CDs was specifically released in the public domain, there's no way they're public domain. I'd say many/most sample CDs are royalty-free (for those that actually bought them). If you're super paranoid about using these sample CDs commercially for a video game, consider:
  • Tracking down the original license agreements for the sample CDs you want to use.
  • Contacting the original publishers to discuss your intended use and see if you can obtain the necessary rights. (aka throw money at them)
  • Considering using royalty-free sample libraries that explicitly allow use in video games.
However, these sample CDs are from the 90s and the samples and recordings are spread far and wide across the internet already, in various sample packs, tracks, and otherwise. If you ask me, you face zero risk of copyright holders pursuing you over torrenting and using these now ancient samples in your own commercial work. Take and use whatever you want- I promise no one gives a shit.

Basically my intention was to also heavily modify the samples so that they fit the video game I'm working on.
In fact I don't plan to use these samples in a way that leaves them with the original sound, except maybe a few.
But if you tell me so then I will use them too, thank you very much for answering me.

I copied the magnet link from my seedbox, saw it was slightly different from the one Faen posted so maybe it'll help.

Hi! I really liked this collection, and I would like to contribute in it. I have a collection of Ensoniq CDs that aren't in the torrent, like, the whole collection of the CDR series, some disks from Masterbits, Rubber Chicken Software, Syntec and other shits. I don't know if it's possible to update the torrent, but, in case it's possible, here is an Archive page that I created some time ago with my Ensoniq disks collection: https://archive.org/details/ensoniq-cd-collection

Continue with the awesome job, and I hope this helps in a certain way.
This seems dead my friend :( I'd like to get the CDR series of Ensoniq.
