#1 is my current desktop. The browser is Librewolf with custom css, and vertical tabs through Sidebery. The global font is "smoothansi" by "artwiz". The wallpaper was made by some guy on CuckChan.org/w/ in the still-alive "Distro Wallpapers" thread.
I'm TEMPORARILY on dwm while I work on my own window manager called Doll (manual-tiling, tabbed, with lua-xcb). I previously used not-ion which I still like the most in terms of function. However you can't use a compositor NOR a wallpaper with it.
#2 is Windows 7 with the bbLean alternate shell, taken 2 years ago. Here comes a rant about bbLean.
bbLean is extremely badass but nobody knows about it let alone uses it. All resources, forums, wikis for it are long, long dead and I had to figure out how to configure it mostly on my own. bbLean is a lightweight fork of bb4win (BlackBox 4 Windows), which is obviously a port of the BlackBox window manager for Windows. Windows+bbLean is extremely badass, the shell itself is just under a megabyte in size, SMALLER than the goddamn 1920x1080 png file I attached, is the most configurable piece of software I've used just before The Lord's Emacs, AND it boots instantly. The only downside is programs that depend on Explorer (like the Explorer file manager) error out the ass, and unless you hard-replace it through registry editing it will keep coming back when you open one. So just use another file manager, Altap Salamander is great. It's not explicitly made for windows 10, although it worked perfectly in old versions of it. Nowadays it's completely broken so don't even try.
