GO BEYOND THE ALGORYTHM. MUSIC IS MEANT TO BE SHARED AND REDISCOVERED!
I'm a sucker for underground music, and I've made quite the collection over the past few years of using Spotify.
It's like a game of golf, the lower the score (play count), the better.
I've made a playlist to compile all of these songs, trying to limit the amount of plays to under 400,000 (which is still alot, i know, but you most likely will not have heard of these)

I'm also a big fan of underground music and I usually look around Spotify but I also think you can find some really great songs on Bandcamp (although I'm poor and can't support the artists haha)
I really like those albums/tracks:
https://glophase.bandcamp.com/album/blink - very chill vibe with varied styles
https://hyprgrid.bandcamp.com/track/daze - leans towards hyperpop with sick beats
https://glaive.bandcamp.com/track/clover - another excellent hyperpop artist
https://materialsound.bandcamp.com/album/unlocked - energetic dubstep
https://artschoolgirlfriend.bandcamp.com/album/diving-come-back-to-me-aa - chill synthwave

Happy listening!

holy, i have quite an extensive collection of emo (hardcore, scramz, early midwest/math rock emo). I thought of making a blog a while back but since I've gathered most of the music from other blogs made by much more knowledgeable people, I'll just list those here:
(shoutout Soulseek, lowkey one of the best p2p platforms for downloading and exploring new music).

These blogs became the holy trinity for my music taste a couple years back. Real great stuff, if you're into emo related music, def check it out.

Nice playlist with some music in the style I generally listen tošŸ‘Œ

I think it's worth sharing this hidden gem with you all.

Jean-Marie Massou (1950-2020) was a French artist associated with art brut. He lived in isolation in the Lot forest, where he dug underground galleries and gigantic chasms, which he called "The Temple". Massou also recorded hundreds of messages and premonitory dreams on audio tapes, created drawings and collages, and engraved stones and rocks.

He learned music by listening to the radio and used tape recorders to capture his creations. Massou was illiterate and had only attended school for a few days in his childhood. His works, often inspired by ecological and apocalyptic concerns, have been recognized for their unique aesthetic quality.

i just don't enjoy the dungeon designs whatsoever, things get labyrinth-y too fast and when they do it turns into stare-at-the-automap-80%-of-the-time simulator

I am reading through The Hitchhiker's Guide to Online Anonymity currently. I have read other privacy & anonymity guides, but most of them were rather basic. They got me interested in the idea of it, but it was arguably too easy. All I had to do was change emails, passwords, and a few other basic pieces of information. I have always used aliases, so the only challenge was recovering old accounts I wanted to delete that I had lost. Pretty much all of them were recovered and deleted or scrambled. I am experimenting with these privacy and anonymity tips + tools for fun due to having little else to do as of now. So, I am hoping this guide is enough to satisfy my urge to tinker with privacy & anonymity for a while.
