I didn't use this social media that much because to me it was just a clone of reddit and google+, same idea overall, it was executed barely better thanks to the wikis. The few times I checked out Amino, there were some cool drawings and animations folks were posting in there, maybe they made these themselves, maybe they were reposted from somewhere.
Amino is not doing too great right now and I don't believe it'll survive that long since the founders don't really have an interest for the site, it might already be dead even, I get upstream timeout errors so I wanted to commemorate Amino with this post and hoping that would kickstart or encourage an archival project if the website is still accessible. Apparently the new owners are now hosting a new social media called clover.space.
That one's a classic! I don't believe it came from Amino, but that's where I found it originally
I can still recognize the deviantart watermark in this jumbled mess of jpeg. I wonder where I can find the original because saucenao doesn't work, Google isn't that more helpful and it's possible the artist who drew this deleted their gallery.
I have more than 10 drawings, but can only post up to 10
I had an avid interest in mario games at the time due to their simple fun gameplay and yoshi of course, so most of the art is Mario related. Well, I did download a ton of furry art, but I've since replaced them with an higher quality version freshly downloaded from furaffinity or deviantart and moved them to an external drive for preservation. The Amino version of those files have been deleted a very long time ago, most of them were lower quality anyway. Maybe a few still remains that I couldn't find the artist for, but I dunno where they're at then.
