I was just about to take a nap and suddenly Amen brother, the legendary Winstons songs, started to play in my head. Then I got this idea, what if I use some of these new fancy AI stem separation things and see if there are more breaks in the Amen brother song than the classic Amenbreak that has been used tens of thousand times.
I used UVR5 with htdemucs_6s settings and separated the drums, opened reaper and quantized/warped 13 more breaks (120bpm) from Amen brother.
What do you guys think, are these usable? I see lots of new hihats, crashes and snares.
What if there are more breaks in classic breakbeat songs,eg. Lynn Collins Think?
EDIT:
I separated drum tracks from Incredible Bongo Band's Apache and Lynn Collins Think, no further new beats quality-wise came up.
EDIT2:
zipped all the loops in on archive for easier access:
- 5 alternative breaks
- 6 fills
- 4 intro hits
- 2 orginal amen breaks
