This is cool, the first half feels like something out of Metroid Prime. Elements of the second half reminded me of some of the music in Portal 2. Both good things. I don't really know much about making this style of music, so I have no real advice for improving it, but I like the sound...- psk

I believe that having restrictions like that only breeds creativity. Classic video game music being an obvious example. Composers for those old games made some truly magical things that probably wouldn't have been half as amazing had they not been so limited by the hardware. Semi on topic, does...- psk

3 separate takes, I often have at least one double for vocals in most of my tracks, and it usually sounds better (to me, anyway) using different takes.- psk

Oldschool/90s Sample CDs Archive - The motherfucking supreme ultimate collection of all time
Love this. I'm excited to play with these. I'm pretty new to sampling, I mostly use live instruments to make music, but I'm trying to get more into building tracks around samples and loops, just to learn something different. Thanks to everyone who helped compile this.- psk

Is there a video editor for windows that isn't absolute fucking garbage?
Weird, that makes me wonder if it's something disk related since they all crash when importing, but I don't know what specifically. If something was really wrong with your disk you would know. CS6 was what, like 2013-14ish? Surely by that point 60fps would have been a standard feature in...- psk

This isn't helpful but I used to use Adobe Premiere and it very rarely crashed on me and I have a comparable, similarly old CPU. I also don't recall any problems with slowness aside from initial startup and rendering or if I tried to import a bunch of large clips all at once. It's been several...- psk

Oh hell yeah I didn't notice the themes in the settings, I'm on tremendously shitty internet with pretty limited bandwidth so I just switched to one of the low bandwidth themes. Top notch feature, I wish more websites would offer choices like that.- psk
