project ideas for esp32?

i bought 2 esp32s the other day thinking i was going to need them for a drum machine project im working on, only to find i could do it without them. anyone got some cool ideas of projects to use my esp for? ive looked online and everything just seems to be about making a smart home system which i dont really care for, im looking for something weird, cool and niche.

system monitor is actually a really good idea, i might try adapt it to show information of my home server and build it into the case so i have a way of monitoring it without powering my main pc on, thanks for the ideas this is a great help!
